Yes there are quite a few things that section 37 requires such an alien to comply with. They are as follows:The alien cannot work without permission.The alien must stay at an indicated place.The alien must notify the local police station of his residence in 24 hours from the arrival time or from the change of residence.

Please understand that the immigration commission s order is final as stated in section 36, paragraph 2. So no alien can appeal against an immigration commission’ s order. The affected alien can appeal against only the order of the national police chief to the immigration commission. So the higher authority here is the immigration commission 36, paragraph 2. In case the permission to stay is running out during the appeal, the alien may request for an extension of stay also and has the right to stay on awaiting the re-permit order. Be mindful of that too.

Writing an appeal is a common thing by expressing you disagreement to the revocation order and in the end, asking the higher authority to overrule to permit you to stay on. After signing it the appellant alien can submit the appeal to the authority in 48 hours from the time of receiving the order .The competent authority shall forward the appeal to the higher authority.

The national police chief may grant the persons under (1),(2),(3) and (4) to stay for another period of not exceeding one year and report it to the immigration commission for information . Having submitted a request for extending the period of stay the requesting .

Yes, (1) the order barring an alien to enter the Kingdom because of no travel document cannot be appealed and (2)the order of the minister of interior itself forbidding an alien or a group of aliens to enter the Kingdom in order to safeguard the interest or the security of the country under section 16 cannot be appealed either. The order of the minister is final. If the minister fails to give out an order in 7 days, the appellant alien is regarded to have entered the Kingdom legally.

Yes. He/she can appeal against the official order to the minister by submitting his/her appeal to the authority within 48 hours from the time of knowing the order.

The general detention is 48 hours .Necessity gives Them power to further detain the alien for an additional period of seven days. In case of existing necessity to further detain the said alien,the authority must apply for detaining order of the court to further detain him/her for 12 days at a time. The court may release the alien provisionally for which the court may require a bond or security or both.

Yes, there is Under section 13 of the immigration Act, the following persons are entitled to enter Thailand without a passport. (1) An alien in charge of a crew member. However, for practical convenience, the Thai authority may issue to each of them an official certificate in accordance with The Ministerial Regulation concerned. (2) A citizen of the country bordering Thailand or adjacent to the Thai border making a casual journey across the border in compliance with the agreement between the Thai government and the government of the neighboring country.
